This is the fourth feature that Will Ferrell and writer-director Adam McKay have collaborated on, and once again they deliver laugh-out-loud if ultimately disposable comedy with mixed messages about arrested male development.. The tale may be Dahl's, but there's a whole new wag to it -- this is decidedly, weirdly and, at best, wonderfully a Wes Anderson movie.. Wes Anderson's utterly charming Fantastic Mr. Fox is that rarity: a children's movie for all.. Too silly to be scary, and a bit too dull...
